Salary is $19.00 to $23.00 hour. 

Shifts:

Night Shift – Monday night through Thursday night: 8:30pm to 6:30am

Second Shift – Monday throught Thursday: 1pm to 11pm

What is Rotational Molding? A hollow mold is filled with powdered plastic resin. The mold begins rotating bi-axially and is transferred into an oven. The mold continues to rotate as the resin melts and coats the walls of the mold. The mold is cooled until the resin hardens into the desired shape. The rotation is stopped and the mold is opened to remove the finished part.

What does a Rotational Molder Operator do? Weigh the proper amount of plastic resin powder into 25-35lb buckets. Dump the buckets of powder into the hollow mold. Operate manual and electric hoists. Use various power tools to open and close molds. Send powered mold into oven; demold part when cooled. Use various hand tools such as grinders, routers and circular saws for trimming parts.
